After their success with the critically acclaimed title Bastion, Supergiant Games is back with a new game called Transistor. If you enjoyed Bastion you will love this game as well.
After a grueling 77 hours of playtime I have finally completed the main story in Rainbow Moon. With such a serious time commitment I went ahead and recorded a longer discussion style review where I break down the game and go in depth. If half an hour is a bit too long for your taste, you can read on below for a shorter written review.
Risk of Rain is hands down one of my top 3 games of 2014. It is a relatively simple platformer with a twist and some roguelike elements thrown in for good measure. There is a vague backstory for those interested but strong gameplay is the focus for this game. In this extended discussion I’ll go over how the game handles difficulty and items as they are truly unique systems.
Incredipede is a simple physics-based puzzle game that is available on Android and iOS mobile platforms as well as Windows and Mac for the PC platforms. In this extended discussion I will discuss the Windows release as that was the platform I reviewed plus a bit on the Android version since I had a chance to play a couple levels on that one as well.
